Prayer Can Change the World

by the computer challenged Ashantay Peters

John Davis is a planetary numerologist with forty years of experience. He, along with many other spiritual analysts, has been working with important dates, such as the Mayan calendar ending on December 21, 2012. Which, by the way is an incorrect perception perpetrated by the media – that date is not a world ending prediction but really the start of a new 26,000 year time period. It should be viewed positively. December 21 is an unique opportunity to change the world. Sounds exciting to me!

Getting back to John – his calculations show that another date this year is just as important. That date? March 21st. Why? I’ll tell you using John’s interpretation. But first, some background.

We are co-creators of our world. You may want to push back saying, I didn’t deliberately set out to get laid off, break my arm, wreck my car, etc., and the purpose of this article is not to delve into philosophy. Just bear with me for a moment, please, and accept that every person has the ability to change their life for better or worse through their intent, words and actions.

When we take responsibility for the nature and quality of our thoughts, we see a change in our life and the lives of people around us. An example is a whiny teen maturing into a parent themselves. We say that teeny “matured” but isn’t that taking responsibility for their thought and actions?

Another part of being responsible is in understanding that we are all connected. (And I have to say there are some people I’d rather not have a connection with, but that’s life.) When we choose to help those less fortunate than ourselves, we help eliminate want in our planetary family. When we pray for people in need, we serve the greater good.

Now, on to the importance of March 21. According to John, the Ancients believed that gestation dates are as important as the actual birth date. If December 21 is the “birth” of a new age then nine months prior is significant. Nine months from December 21 is March 21. See where this is going?

Utilizing the power of prayer and thought projection on March 21, we can ensure that what happens on December 21 is positive on all dimensions. We have the opportunity to literally change the world in our intention to manifest positive results and bring in the Light of the World in December.

John suggests “a simple daily regimen of meditation, prayer and practical action in whatever form suits you.” Willingness to help others, along with discipline, is key. Also important is acting within a group, because a collective working together is stronger than an individual.
Because we are all connected co-creators, when we take responsibility for or change our thoughts, emotions and actions, we can change the world.

If you agree with this world perception, please consider allotting time on March 21 to send up a prayer with your positive dreams for a new world beginning December 21. Ask that the birth of our world be bright with promise, health and shared wealth, or whatever you wish to see happen. Ask that your prayer be added to those of John’s prayer group.

Then sit back and watch to see what happens next. Remember that change cannot happen without chaos, but you can control your reaction to change and expect only the best for yourself and everyone else. Let’s work together to make this new world wonderful in every respect!

What an interesting theory. As I have matured I have realized that ANY thing is possible, the flower that blooms, the new baby, the great advancement of society, all these things are miracles, and if those things can happen, anything can. While religion and science have dickered for all time over the existence of God verses the slow evolution of all things living and inanimate, I believe in a higher power, something beyond a cosmic accident. I will think on this on March 21st, if it is a true revelation, I'm adding my prayers, and if not, than a little prayer for our future can't hurt!
