Every year in February/March we head off to Jupiter, Florida for St. Louis Cardinals baseball spring training. From there we take little side trips such as driving along a street with all those luxurious Palm Beach homes.

In addition to spirituality and healing in Sedona, there are more art galleries than most anyplace I've ever visited. The art is gorgeous and experimental in all the ways I love.

For me, travel is an inspiration. Ideas for new books begin in some far away place I've perhaps visited in my dreams. The photographs I take inspire my art.
I love to travel. No matter where.

Nice blog. I would recommend you visit Bermuda. It isn't too far away and is simply beautiful. Here is a post I did about it. Beautiful Bermuda
Love the blog! Sedona is one of my favorite places, especially Cathedral Rock. You can see the Stone People's faces and forms watching over the canyon.
I grew up in Wisconsin - a beautiful state that I hope you enjoy. And Boone is just down the road from me! I hope you enjoy your workshop! Don't miss getting on the Blue Ridge Parkway - it's a short trip from Boone to Mount Mitchell, the highest point in the East. Or to Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain or Linville Caves/Falls.
Thanks, Carole, for your comment. I enjoyed my visit to your blog. I've never been to Bermuda.
Ashantay,
Thanks for stopping by. Cathedral Rock is gorgeous. I did a pastel painting of it several years ago.
We usually stay at the Highlands on Sugar Mt. when we visit Boone. It's not far from Grandfather Mt.
My A to Z Blogfest Challenge for "M" is Milwaukee, so you might like to visit my blog Notes Along the Way. http://tinyurl.com/7kw4xdc
Nice photos.
Traveling is great fun! Everyone should try to do as much as they can! And don't put it off, its later than you think!
Hope to get to Arizona this year. Haven't been back in years. Born there and lived there as a child. :-)
Beautiful blog. I live in such a beautiful part of the world--the Shenandoah Valley. There's no place like home.
Enjoy WI and NC. Both great states.
