So much has happened lately, I hardly know where to begin. First, I apologize for missing my post on July 2nd. I did prepare one, but for some reason, it didn't post as I expected. I was on my way to Kansas at the time for a vacation with a friend I have known for many years. I had a wonderful time visiting old Abilene, Milford Lake and Manhattan. I have returned now and am preparing this in advance as I am scheduled for surgery on my shoulder next Tues, the 24th of July. My doctor promises me I will be trussed up like a Christmas Goose for a full six weeks, so I don't think I'll be posting for at least the next couple of turns. However, I will be reading and may even pull a 'poor poor pitiful' me stunt and get one of the kids to type for me.
Meanwhile, I wish you all a happy summer! The weather is terrible for so many, too hot, too windy, too rainy, too much of whatever is going on. My boss at my little part time job was wiped out by a tornado in Covington, Virginia, my sisters in Nevada and California are holding their breath hoping the west coast fires don't get to them, my niece, married to a farmer in Kansas, is praying for rain soon, before all is lost, my neighbors right here are praying for the rain to stop before all their crops rot in the field...and the worries go on and on. I hope you and yours are not in the way of any of these concerns. However, whatever our daily problems, we need to remember the people in Colorado and put our own issues in perspective. So sad.
See you again soon!

Hope your surgery is entirely successful even if you end up trussed like a goose. Shoulder pain is not pleasant.
And I think your children will be only too glad to do a little typing for you as long as it's not over 1K. Unless one of them has author aspirations? Then you can ask for at least 20K.
Hang in there, Jinny! Been thinking about you!
All best wishes, Jinny!
We'll be thinking of you. Hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Mother Nature is pretty fitful right now.
Hoping better days are ahead!
